ABOUT ME
I moved to Elberton in 2016 with my husband and kids. Before that, I was born and raised in Florida. I have good memories of my childhood surrounded by farm animals, and easy access to parks, zoos, and camps. In the summer, I would visit my grandparents in Kentucky and spend my vacation collecting bugs, fishing, or exploring nature.
Elberton reminds me of my childhood. The small town feel, friendly neighbors, a casual walk around the block, and catching frogs by the creek. I want to raise my kids in a place like this.
It took a few years to get settled in town and explore the area (although, I still have a lot to learn), but I am inspired to build this website to connect with my community, promote kid-friendly organizations, and keep learning new things. I hope you enjoy the events calendar, craft ideas, seasonal guide, local deals, news, business directory, and more.
I also host a monthly homeschooling group for kids and parents, craft days, field trips, and more to provide social opportunities which are vital for families.
I also offer marketing consultation and graphic design services to help local businesses connect with the community in effective and engaging ways.
