I am so thankful for all of the local families (like YOU!) that visit the website, get the weekly newsletter or follow me on social media for local news, events and activities all year round. This is a great activity to do with kids — and adults! — of all ages while waiting for that turkey to be done Thanksgiving Day. Once everyone is done with their thankfulness alphabet, compare answers to see how many responses are the same.
Maybe you can hold an in-house contest to reward the most creative or thoughtful responses with an extra slice of pecan pie. And, the person who doesn't finish their list gets to do the dishes!
