Calling All Kids! This summer, come check out the Elbert County Library for a whole Ocean of Possibilities for you and your family. From music and magic, animals and puppets, reading and prizes... the Elbert County Library has cool programs ALL SUMMER LONG!
SUMMER FUN - These programs repeat each week to give you fun activities to look forward to each week for babies, toddlers, kids and more.
- Mondays - 🤖 Investigation Station: A hands-on program of science, art and games for students in grades 2nd and up.
- Tuesdays - 📚 Toddler Storytime at Elbert County Public Library: Stories, songs, and crafts for children 0-6 years old.
- Tuesdays - 📚 Toddler Storytime - Bowman Library: Stories, songs, and crafts for children 0-6 years old.
- Thursdays - 🧱 Lego-Palooza: 90 minutes of Lego fun featuring thousands of Legos for older kids and larger Duplo blocks for littles.
- Fridays - Special Guest Appearances - juggling, puppets, crafts, and birds... check out the full schedule below!

- July 29th - Last Day to submit your summer reading logs and be entered in the prize drawings
READ FOR PRIZES THIS SUMMER - Join the Elbert County Public Library and Bowman Public Library as we read for fun and prizes this summer.
- Summer Reading Logs can be picked up at the Elbert County or Bowman Library.
- Keep track of your reading from Friday May 20th - July 29th 2022
- Baby - 1st Grade: Record the number of books you read, or read aloud to you, and add the totals to get tickets. 5 Books = 1 Ticket.
- 2nd - 12th Grade: Record the time spent reading each day and add up your totals to get tickets. 2 Hours = 1 Ticket
- Turn in your reading log anytime before July 29th to be entered for the prize drawings held on Monday, August 1st.
