Little Free Library is the world's largest book-sharing movement, with over 150,000 of these little wooden boxes worldwide. It's estimated that 70 million books are shared each year through Little Free Libraries, offering access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds.

And did you know that we have FOUR little free libraries right here in Elbert County (and more are popping up every year!)

The Little Free Library concept is simple: Anyone may take a book or share a book for FREE. Simply take a book, leave a book, trade a book -- any day of the week. When you use the Little Free Libraries in Elberton you can keep your bookshelf uncluttered, feel good about sharing with others, and score some great new reads for your kids or yourself!

"Take a Book - Share a Book"

There are many ways to participate and enjoy a Little Free Library in our community.

My kids get very excited when we find these little libraries during our walks or weekly activities, and they always find a book or two to take home. It encourages curiosity, adventure, charity, literacy, and community involvement. How great is that? If you're ready to find your adventure, here is the list of locations nearby...
