When I first arrived at Wyndham Alltra Cancun, I knew I was in for an unforgettable getaway. The resort's prime beachfront location is so inviting and relaxing, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there are plenty of diverse dining options to satisfy any craving you may have.

One of the highlights of my stay was the variety of dining options from around the world. Wyndham Alltra Cancun offers unlimited food and drink at 13 unique restaurants, cafes, bars, and lounges, so you will find a world of satisfying choices all day (and night)!
Breakfast Bites
I quickly found that the omelette bar at Ventanas breakfast buffet is the best way to start the day off right. Here you can customize your omelette just the way you like it and pair it with hash browns, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, or granola. I also appreciate a few healthy options in the morning such as fresh fruit smoothies and freshly squeezed pineapple or watermelon juice. Yum!

Convenient Comforts
Just around the corner, stop by Café México for grab-and-go sandwiches, fruit cup, delicious pastries, and aromatic coffee. Warning: it may be impossible to resist their warm and gooey, freshly-baked cinnamon rolls right out of the oven.

Lunch Break
At lunchtime, I gravitated towards the beach to get a closer look at the gorgeous white sand and teal blue waters. I found Salsa Taco Bar serving up tasty authentic tacos paired with cilantro, guacamole, onions, and a burst of authentic flavors. Additionally, Brasas Grill had BBQ meat and seafood selections for a quick bite anytime. Each day, I enjoyed my lunch from a beachfront swing with an unbelievable view of the Caribbean Sea. It was a captivating way to spend the day and savor the amazing sights, sounds, and flavors of this family-friendly paradise.
And in those rare moments when I didn’t want to leave the room, I found the mini-fridge in my room was replenished daily with complimentary soda, juice, and water bottles. Plus, I could order all-inclusive all-day room service at the push of a button from the comfort of my bed. It’s available 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. daily... Oh, I must be dreaming!

Two Scoops, Please
I found my favorite sweet escape inside Cravings Candy Shop. This 1950s-themed soda shop is a charming place to grab a few scoops of ice cream and enjoy a mid-day break between resort activities. If you're feeling thirsty, all of the resort bars serve cocktails (with or without alcohol), soda and water with free refills for a cool and refreshing treat on-the-go.

Fun for Kids & Families
Wyndham Alltra Cancun always goes above and beyond for families with their dedicated kids area. The family pool includes with a pirate-themed splash pad, 7 water slides and 2 splash zones. Around the corner, you'll find Alltra Kids Club with indoor activities, crafts, and play area made just for kids age 4-12, and evening entertainment such as movie nights, karaoke and more.
If you're traveling with teenagers, they will most definitely appreciate the exclusive #Hashtag Teen Zone that's equipped with pool tables, retro video games, air hockey, billiards, and comfortable seating for reading or relaxing. You must be age 13-17 to enter, giving teens some space to socialize while parents relax by the pool, grab a bite to eat, or indulge in some "me time." The resort's family-friendly environment means there's something for everyone to enjoy.
I also appreciate that every restaurant has a kids menu with classic favorites, plus a kids section of the buffet featuring all-you-can-eat pizza, mac and cheese, spaghetti, french fries, and burritos. If your little ones prefer a simple comfort food, there's a hot dog cart right next to the kiddie pool.

After a long day of fun in the sun, I wandered into my next a culinary adventure with a variety of restaurants to choose from: Viaggio (Italian), Casa de Rosa (Mexican), At Sunset (American / European), and Azul (Asian). Whether you're in the mood for steak, pasta, or sushi, Wyndham Alltra Cancun has a dish for every craving.

Wyndham Alltra Cancun is located just 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport and easily accessible by airport shuttle or taxi. There are direct international flights from Altanta to Cancun, and the flight is approximately 2.5 hours long. The travel experience was incredible and the Hotel Zone was very safe and comfortable.
