The Elbert Theatre Foundation and the Elbert County Public Library are partnering to host FAMILY story time (not just for kids!) in which we'll read the entirety of C. S. Lewis' novel THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE out loud over a 6-week period in the Elbert Arts Center.
Different people will read aloud each week. This is a great opportunity for those who have never heard the story to hear it free of charge and get ready for the live stage performances coming up at the Elbert Theatre!
Folks are welcome to bring their own copies of the novel to read along if they want. People are also encouraged to visit the EC Library and check out a copy!

THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE PERFORMANCES: Encore Productions is having performances for the final show of the 2024 season The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in the Elbert Theatre. This dramatization of C.S. Lewis' classic work faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The action features chases, duels and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan. This story of love, faith and courage, with its triumph of good over evil, is a true celebration of life.
