At Fortsonia Baptist Church we have a variety of ministries to meet the spiritual needs of everyone in our community. We host Sunday School, worship service, Wednesday night youth program, and seasonal events for children and families.
Sunday School: Every Sunday at 10:00 am. During this time your child will receive an age appropriate lesson that teaches them facts about the Bible. They will learn about key people, important events, historical timelines, and how God interacted with His people. However, beyond just the facts, we aim to make these stories real and impactful by teaching them that we all have our place in God’s plan that starts with faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Children's Church: Every Sunday at 11:00 am. Children gather in the main sanctuary for a time of worship through music, prayer, giving, and the reading of God’s word. After this time, the children are dismissed to gather for Children's Church, or stay in the sanctuary with their parents based on age.
Wednesday Night C.H.A.O.S.: Every Wednesday at 6:00 pm (excluding school holidays, winter vacation and summer vacation) CHAOS is a full program with recreation time, Bible study, craft and meal provided. Children participate in a specialized program just for their age group, available for children in preschool - 12th grade (ages 3 and up)
Events: We also have special seasonal events throughout the year such as Trunk-or-Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, and Vacation Bible School. We look forward to seeing you soon!
